particleIllusion Pro Emitter Libraries- Windows and Mac *Clean R
the particle types are basically the effects that are associated with the emitters. in the particle types section below, youll see a simple list of the different particle types that can be created by particle illusion, and the effects that can be generated by them. we have organized the particle types into different sections (color, direction, size, intensity), depending on what you can do with them. effects like size and speed can be adjusted on the emitters as well, which is why they are in separate sections, but color, direction and intensity are not.
regardless of what the emitters can do, they are listed as they are and you can edit them as you would any other particle component. when editing an emitter in the graph view, keep in mind that the particle isnt going to be an exact copy of the emitter. all particles will move in unique ways, so dont modify something that isnt important for your specific emitter.
the first thing to set up in a new project is the new project box. simply check the create new project at the bottom of the project > new project screen. this creates an empty project with an empty coordinate system. in other words, its like making a new file in your project in that youre essentially making a blank slate and not adding anything to an existing project. when youre done setting up the project, go to project > save as
the basics tab defines the general settings of the particle effect. once you have an emitter (in the emitter tab), click the add button to start adding emitters to your project. make sure to give each emitter a name to reference it and hit the save button to save the emitters.
